Vocation Promoters in Karnataka Renew Commitment to Nurturing Vocations

Bangalore, Karnataka, November 19, 2025: Over 100 vocation promoters from across Karnataka gathered at NBCLC, Bangalore, on November 15, 2025, for a day-long training programme aimed at rejuvenating their commitment to nurturing vocations in the Church.


The programme, led by Fr. Bonaventure, Regional Secretary for Vocations and Formation, and Sr. Precilla Lobo, Joint Secretary, focused on equipping participants with innovative strategies for vocation promotion. Sr. Precilla Lobo emphasized the importance of compassionate listening and supporting youngsters in their discernment process, while Sr. Elizabeth Leo encouraged participants to adopt creative and open approaches to engage youth effectively.


The practical training session, led by Fr. Roshan D'Souza, Director of Premavani Communications, Diocese of Gulbarga, equipped attendees with essential digital skills for modern vocation promotion, including creating posters, PPTs, and videos.


The programme fostered a spirit of collaboration and renewed purpose among participants, who described the gathering as dynamic and enriching. The event strengthened their shared vision of nurturing vocations in the Church through creativity, commitment, and constructive engagement.
