Mysore Diocese Legion of Mary Celebrates Jubilee 2025 with Solemn Gathering

Mysore, August 18, 2025 – The Diocese of Mysore witnessed a momentous celebration of faith as the Legion of Mary gathered on August 17 at Maithas Auditorium to mark the Jubilee 2025. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Bernard Moras, Archbishop and Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese, who delivered a stirring homily on the theme, “Pilgrims of Hope: Mary, the Model of the Church and of Every Christian.”

The gathering brought together 220 participants from four districts of the diocese, representing all nine deaneries. The presence of Fr. Maria Xavier, Spiritual Director of the Legion of Mary, and Rev. Fr. Arul Selva Kumar, Diocesan Coordinator of Commissions, added further spiritual depth to the occasion.

Marked by fervent devotion, unity, and Marian spirituality, the event stood as a significant milestone in the Jubilee journey of the Diocese of Mysore, strengthening the faith and missionary spirit of the Legion members.
