Gulbarga Diocese Holds Zonal Youth Gathering in Bidar

Bidar, August 18, 2025 – The Bidar Zonal Youth Gathering of the Diocese of Gulbarga was held at Sacred Heart Church, Bidar, on August 17, bringing together 55 spirited young people from various centres of the zone for a day of spiritual growth, community bonding, and joyful learning.

An uplifting session conducted by Fr. Derek Barnabas urged the participants to embrace their true identity as children of God. His reflections provided inspiration and direction, encouraging the youth to live their faith with renewed confidence and commitment. This was followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, which deepened their spiritual bond and fostered a strong sense of unity among all gathered.

The gathering came alive with a variety of interactive activities and group sessions, where the young participants enthusiastically engaged with one another, radiating energy and zeal. The day concluded with a summary session, recognising the active involvement and valuable contributions of the youth throughout the event.

Well-coordinated and warmly received, the gathering left participants deeply grateful for the enriching experience. For the youth of the Bidar Zone, it became a memorable occasion to strengthen their faith, nurture friendships, and embrace their common purpose.
