Prayer for the Victims of the Air India Flight AI‑171 Crash and Their Families

God of Mercy and Compassion,

We come before You with heavy hearts, grieving the tragic air crash that claimed the lives of so many—passengers, crew, and residents in the vicinity of the crash site. In this moment of deep sorrow, we lift up to You every soul lost in this tragedy. Receive them into Your eternal embrace and grant them the peace that only You can give.

Lord, be near to the families and loved ones who are now carrying unbearable grief. Comfort them in their anguish, hold them in Your arms when words fail, and pour Your healing love into their broken hearts. Strengthen the rescue workers and all who are offering help, and surround the affected communities with compassion and support.

Though we do not understand why such tragedies happen, we trust in Your goodness and cling to the hope of resurrection. May light shine in this darkness, and may Your presence be felt in every tear, every prayer, and every act of kindness.

Through the gentle intercession of the Holy Spirit and our Blessed Mother Mary, bring peace where there is chaos, hope where there is despair, and healing where there is pain.
