NISCORT, Amrat Talithakum Empower Sisters via Digital Storytelling & Cyber Safety Workshop

Ghaziabad, NCR Delhi, October 5, 2025: NISCORT Media College, in collaboration with Amrat Talithakum India, successfully concluded a three-day workshop on Digital Storytelling and Cyber Safety from October 3 to 5, 2025. The event brought together 40 Sisters from diverse religious congregations representing nine regions across India.


The initiative aimed to enhance digital skills and promote responsible media engagement among religious Sisters. Participants received practical training in photography, news writing, videography, and digital communication. They explored creative storytelling through various media formats, including short films, videos, and documentaries.


Experts from NISCORT Media College guided the participants through sessions that integrated technology with mission-oriented communication. The workshop also focused on the significance of social media in evangelisation, networking, and personal branding.


Emphasising the growing relevance of digital safety, Dr. Ritu Dubey Tiwari, Principal of NISCORT Media College, addressed the pressing need for cyber security awareness and preventive measures against online threats. Fr. Robinson Rodrigues, Director of NISCORT, demonstrated the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance media productivity and creativity.


The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony. Fr. Rodrigues and Sr. Meera RGS, President of Amrat Talithakum India, commended the participants for their active involvement and dedication to advancing digital literacy within their communities.
