Indore Diocese to Host 14th Annual Bible Mahotsav from September 30 to October 2

Indore, M.P., September 25, 2025:The Catholic Diocese of Indore will host its 14th Bible Mahotsav, an annual gathering dedicated to the proclamation of God’s Word, spiritual renewal, and healing, from September 30 to October 2, 2025, at St. Paul Higher Secondary School, Indore. The three-day event will be animated by Fr. Yesudas VC and his team.

This year’s Mahotsav will be held under the theme “ईश्वर की महिमा के भागी बनने की आशा” (The Hope of Sharing in the Glory of God). The theme reflects the spirit of the Jubilee Year and resonates with the late Pope Francis’ call for the Church to journey as “Pilgrims of Hope”. Over the three-day event, sessions led by Fr. Yesudas VC and his team will provide attendees with spiritual guidance and opportunities for reflection and spiritual renewal.

Approximately 5000 faithful from Indore and neighbouring dioceses, including Jhabua and Khandwa, are expected to participate in the three-day event to experience the transformative power of God’s Word.

The Bible Mahotsav is a spiritual festival of the Diocese of Indore, organised in a deeply synodal spirit, where the Bishop, priests, religious, and lay leaders come together in unity and collaboration. In past years, remarkable teamwork and dedication—especially from the laity—have been a striking feature of this event.

The three-day event will also be streamed live on Atmadarshan TV’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
