ICYM Leaders of Agra Region Spread Jubilee Cheer in Allahabad Diocese

Allahabad, July 15, 2024: The Agra Regional Executive Committee (REXCO) of ICYM visited the Allahabad diocese on July 13, 2024, during the Youth Seminar at Sadhana Sadan, the Allahabad Diocesan Pastoral Centre. REXCO interacted with the diocese youth and delivered sessions on ICYM, its campaigns, and its functioning across different levels. The session celebrated ICYM's great success during the Jubilee year.

Fr. Dominic Pinto, Regional Youth Director (RYD), encouraged the youth to actively participate in church youth activities and spiritual programs. Ms. Amisha Cutinha, Regional Youth President (RYP), explained ICYM’s organizational structure and how participants can engage in activities at the Regional and National levels.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, ICYM has designated this year as the Jubilee Year. Mr. Albin Robin, Regional Youth Technical Head (RYTH) and NEXCO member took session on National campaigns such as Feed a Friend, G-India, and Communio.

Most Rev. Louis Mascarenhas, Bishop of Allahabad, graced the event with his presence and offered the Holy Mass on July 14, with co-celebrants Fr. Dominic (RYD), Fr. Joel Fernandes (DYD), Fr. Ronald Noronha, and Fr. Enoch Mackwan (Bhagalpur diocese). Bishop Mascarenhas emphasized the mission of Catholic youth and their crucial role in building the church. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the diocese’s youth, who engaged in discussions and learned about ICYM’s initiatives.
