Cardinal Sebastian Francis Pays Tribute at Blessed Mother Eliswa Memorial in Varapuzha, Kerala

Kochi, Kerala, November 6, 2025: His Eminence Cardinal Dr. Sebastian Francis, Bishop of the Diocese of Penang in Malaysia, paid floral tribute at the Blessed Mother Eliswa Memorial in Varapuzha.

The ceremony drew the presence of several distinguished church leaders, including Dr. Vincent Cosmos, Bishop of Tanzania; Dr. George Cosmos, Bishop of Zambia; and Fr. Marco Chiesa, Postulator for the Cause of Mother Eliswa.

Also in attendance were Dr. Antony Valunkal, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Verapoly; Sr. C. Shahila, Mother General of the CTC Congregation; Monsignor Mathew Elanjimittam, Vicar General; Fr. Augustin Mullur, OCD Provincial; and Fr. Abjin Arakkal, Chancellor of the Archdiocese.

The event reflected deep reverence and international recognition of Blessed Mother Eliswa’s legacy, uniting clergy from across continents in a moment of prayer and remembrance.
