Archdiocese of Bhopal Extends Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings to Muslim Religious Leaders

Bhopal, 31 March, 2025: The Archdiocese of Bhopal warmly extended its Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to distinguished leaders of the Muslim community.

In his message, Archbishop Durairaj SVD highlighted the festival’s deep significance, stating, "Eid-ul-Fitr is a meaningful celebration that embodies the fundamental human values of love, compassion, and brotherhood, all of which are crucial for fostering a harmonious society."

Reflecting on the spiritual importance of this period, Father Alfred D’Souza, Public Relations Officer of the Archdiocese, stated, "Since ancient times, acts of sacrifice and penance have served as profound expressions of human dedication and obedience to the Divine. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters on the successful completion of this sacred fasting period."

The Archdiocese’s gesture reaffirmed its commitment to interfaith harmony and mutual respect.
