"Resolute 2025" Youth Retreat Inspires Delhi’s Catholic Youth

New Delhi, April 1, 2025 – "Resolute 2025", a youth retreat organised by the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Delhi, was held from March 28 to 30, 2025, at Rosary Sr. Sec. School, Kingsway Camp, Delhi. 320 young Catholics from across the Archdiocese of Delhi participated in this faith-based event, aimed at providing spiritual renewal and moral guidance. Held under the leadership of ICYM Delhi Director Fr. Maria Antony, the retreat provided a platform for deep reflection, counselling, and discussions on contemporary issues affecting the youth.

The retreat commenced on March 28 with a solemn Holy Mass celebrated by His Grace Anil Couto, Archbishop of Delhi, setting a spiritual tone for the three-day gathering.

Members of Live Pure India, a Goa-based faith organisation, led the sessions during the three days of the retreat. The sessions focused on vital issues such as the culture of life, personal struggles, and moral challenges faced by young people today. Discussions addressed sensitive topics, including pornography, sexual immorality, LGBTQ+ concerns, and the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding personal choices. The interactive sessions during the event provided a safe space for young attendees to seek answers and gain a better understanding of faith-based perspectives on these matters.

Centred on the theme “Hope Alive: Walking with Christ as Pilgrims of Faith”, the retreat encouraged participants to deepen their relationship with Christ and navigate their faith journey with clarity and conviction.

The retreat concluded on March 30 with a solemn ceremony led by Auxiliary Bishop of Delhi, Bishop Deepak Tauro, who imparted blessings upon the participants. Many youth who participated in the retreat shared testimonies of personal transformation, renewed faith, and a strengthened commitment to Christian values.

The "Resolute 2025" youth retreat proved to be a spiritually enriching experience, leaving a lasting impact on the youth of the Archdiocese of Delhi and reinforcing faith, hope, and moral guidance in their lives.
