Youth Embrace Faith and Discernment at Petlad Deanery Youth Day, Gujarat

Petlad, February 25, 2025: The Petlad Deanery Youth Day was celebrated on February 23 at Nagra Retreat Center, bringing together 70 young participants from eight parishes for a day of faith, reflection, and fellowship.  

Rev. Fr. Paresh Parmar led an engaging session on discernment, encouraging the youth to seek God's guidance in their lives. The event also featured the celebration of the Holy Eucharist by Rev. Fr. Anton Appa, Dean of Petlad Deanery, fostering a spirit of unity and devotion.  

Rev. Fr. Edwin Anand, Diocesan Youth Director, addressed the gathering, inspiring them to deepen their love for Christ and explore opportunities within the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM). This Youth Day was one of four deanery-level celebrations promoted by ICYM Ahmedabad this year, aiming to strengthen faith and community engagement among young Catholics.  

The celebration concluded with a call to remain rooted in Christ and trust in His plan, empowering the youth to live their faith with conviction and purpose.
