Milagris School and Jr. College Honours Mother Mary with Marian Night in Sawantwadi, Maharashtra

Sawantwadi, October 16, 2025: Milagris School and Jr. College in Sawantwadi, in the diocese of Sindhudurg recently marked Marian Night with great enthusiasm on 7th October, in the school auditorium. The event, themed “Mary, our hope and joy,” served as a heartfelt tribute to Mother Mary, drawing approximately 400 participants from diverse backgrounds.

The evening began with a series of spiritual activities which was led by the Principal Fr. Richard Saldanha. This was followed by the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Amrut as the main celebrant, alongside six other priests. The collective participation of the clergy enriched the solemnity of the occasion.

Attendees comprised a broad spectrum of the community, including teachers, students, parents, parishioners, catechists, children from the Jesus’ Joy Club, and staff members, reflecting an inclusive spirit across all faiths. 

This celebration highlighted Mary’s enduring significance as a source of hope and joy, uniting the faithful in a memorable expression of devotion.
