'Life in the Spirit Seminar’ at Jegan Matha Parish, Trichy Inspires Spiritual Renewal

Trichy, February 12, 2025 – The Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) was held at Jegan Matha Parish, Trichy, on 11th and 12th January 2025, under the spiritual guidance of the parish priest, Rev. Fr. John Britto. Organised by YU4C Tamil Nadu with the theme "Experience God's Love in a Personal Way," the event attracted the participation of 67 youth members and brothers from the parish.

The resource team for the seminar comprised a mix of esteemed preachers, including Br. John Baptist, Br. Immanuel, Sr. Tanya Immanuel, Br. Victor Joans, Sr. Ambuja Victor Joans, and the YU4C Arakkonam Music Team.

On the first day of the retreat, sessions covered significant spiritual topics such as God’s Love, Sin & Repentance, forgiveness, Confession, and Inner Healing. The day culminated in a powerful Eucharistic Adoration session, which left a lasting impact on the youth, allowing them to experience the boundless mercy and love of God.

The second day of the seminar included sessions on the Holy Spirit, the Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit, Baptism in the Holy Spirit (BHS), and how to form prayer groups within the parish. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit experience was particularly transformative, as participants engaged in exercises of the Charisms in small groups.

Throughout the two days, the YU4C Arakkonam Music Team, consisting of Hari, Rohit, Allwin, and Agila, led the participants in praise and worship, creating an uplifting and energetic atmosphere.

The seminar reinforced the commitment of the youth to their spiritual journeys and deepened the bond within the parish community.
