ICYM Bangalore Leads Youth in VIA CRUCIS – A Lenten Journey of Reflection

Bangalore, 3 April 2025 – The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Archdiocese of Bangalore prayerfully organised VIA CRUCIS – Youth Way of the Cross on 23 March at Little Sisters of the Poor, drawing young Catholics from across the city for a day of deep reflection and spiritual renewal.

Young participants engaged with the residents of Little Sisters of the Poor, sharing moments of faith and companionship. The Sacrament of Reconciliation offered them a sacred opportunity to experience God’s mercy.

A moving enactment of the Way of the Cross, performed by Ascension Church, Cathedral Deanery, became the spiritual centrepiece of the event, allowing participants to journey with Christ in His Passion.

The Holy Eucharistic Celebration brought the gathering to a solemn and grace-filled conclusion, strengthening the youth in their Lenten journey.

Amid the sacred season of Lent, VIA CRUCIS provided a profound encounter with Christ’s suffering and love, inspiring young Catholics to walk more closely with Him. ICYM Archdiocese of Bangalore remains committed to nurturing the faith of the youth through such transformative experiences in the future.
