Ecumenical United Christmas Celebration Brings Christians Together in Dandeli, Karwar

Dandeli, 18 December 2025: Christians from multiple denominations gathered at Ambedkar Hall in Dandeli for the Ecumenical United Christmas Celebration, organised by the All-Karnataka United Christian Forum for Human Rights (AKUCFHR), Karwar Zone – Dandeli Wing, as a unified expression of faith, peace and fellowship marking the birth of Jesus Christ. 

The celebration included a varied programme of spiritual and cultural presentations. Carol singing, prayer and worship presentations, and a keytar performance by Bro. Shalom Sanjoy Maben and his team added to the festive atmosphere. 

During the event, Felix Lobo, parish priest of St Antony’s Church, Old Dandeli, delivered a Christmas message emphasizing the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ and the importance of unity, calling on those present to uphold love, peace, harmony and togetherness. Prizes were distributed to participants in recognition of their contributions and performances.
