The Way 2025' Retreat Unites 180 Youths at St. Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur, Karnataka

Karkala, Karnataka, 23 March 2025: The ICYM Karkala Deanery organised a successful youth retreat, "The Way 2025," at St. Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur, on 23 March. The event brought together over 180 youths for a day of faith, renewal, and spiritual growth.

The retreat commenced with a blessing prayer by Fr. Alban D'Souza, followed by an inaugural address by Fr. Larry Pinto, Director, ICYM Karkala Deanery. The praise and worship sessions, led by Fr. Alwyn D'Souza and Fr. Roshan D'Cunha, were enhanced by the music of Blaze Band.

The programme featured a range of spiritual activities, including the Way of the Cross, Rosary, and Holy Eucharist, which was celebrated by Fr. Steven Fernandes. A special inner healing session allowed participants to release painful memories, symbolised by burning written reflections.

A soul-stirring adoration led by Fr. Roshan D'Cunha was a highlight of the retreat. Organised under the guidance of Fr. Larry Pinto, the event left a lasting spiritual impact on the participants, encouraging them to walk with Christ and live His passion.
