A Century of Learning on Stage

The production travelled through five key periods in education:

  • 1920s–1940s: The Gurukul system and the mission begun by Fr. Faustino D’Souza, which later contributed to the founding of the school in 1946.
  • 1950s–1970s: Textbook-based learning, the Mobile Library, and the country’s journey to independence.
  • 1980s–1990s: The rise of Doordarshan and the arrival of early computers.
  • 2000s–2021: The use of smartboards, digital tools, and hybrid learning shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • 2040: A reminder that while technology advances, it cannot replace enduring values such as faith, compassion, and shared human experiences.

Teacher Mrs. Antonieta Dias delivered the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem performed by primary students, closing an evening that celebrated the school’s history and its vision for the future.
