Indore, July 28, 2025 — In a spirit of unity, collaboration, and renewed vision for the future of faith-based communication, members of SIGNIS Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh (MP&CG) gathered for a regional meeting at Satprakashan Sanchar Kendra on Saturday, 26 July 2025. The meeting marked a significant step toward strengthening the bonds among Catholic communicators across the region as they prepared for the upcoming Communication Jubilee celebrations later this year.
An invocation by Fr. Thomas Anthony O. Praem. set the tone for the gathering, followed by a welcome from Fr. Anthony Swamy SVD, Secretary of SIGNIS Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, to the 16 participants from various dioceses. Fr. Rocky Sha, President, then convened the session by presenting the agenda, setting the stage for meaningful discussions ahead.
The session evolved into a dynamic exchange of ideas, with members discussing ways to build stronger networks among Catholic media professionals. Discussions focused on fostering cohesive collaboration, resource sharing, and inter-diocesan support systems in both Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
*Planning for the Communication Jubilee 2025*
A major highlight was the planning of the Communication Jubilee 2025—a landmark celebration for Church communicators globally. Members agreed unanimously to commemorate the Jubilee at both diocesan and regional levels to ensure broad participation.

The meeting also explored possible training sessions, workshops, and content-sharing platforms to boost communication efforts at grassroots and diocesan levels. Emphasis was placed on storytelling, media literacy, and using digital platforms to spread Gospel-centred messages.
A Renewed Commitment to Catholic Communication
As the meeting concluded, a shared sense of purpose emerged. It served not only as a platform for planning and coordination but also as a space for mutual encouragement amid the complexities of modern media.
SIGNIS MP&CG reaffirmed its commitment to fostering ethical, professional, and spiritually grounded communication practices across the region. With the Jubilee on the horizon and a growing network of committed communicators, the future of Catholic media in central India appears promising and vibrant.
