Bhopal, 31 March, 2025 – The Archdiocese of Bhopal officially launched its annual Lenten Campaign at Co-Cathedral - Our Lady of Assumption Church on 30 March, focusing on spiritual reflection, charity, and community engagement. This year's theme, *Chetna Disability Campaign 2025 – Journey of Hope: Share to Serve*, highlights the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities, advocating for their rights and dignity.
The launch event was presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Sebastin Durairaj, Archbishop of Bhopal, who emphasised the importance of supporting persons with disabilities so they can fully experience God's love. The event was attended by church leaders, community members, and local partners.
Introducing the campaign, Fr. Shinto Abraham, Executive Director of MPSSS, stressed the role of faith during Lent. To maximise outreach, promotional materials, including flyers and posters, have been distributed across various institutions and religious houses.
With strong community support, the Lenten Campaign has commenced on a positive note, fostering a spirit of charity, transformation, and service throughout the season.
