ICYM Jalandhar Begins Faith Walk with Jubilee Cross

Jalandhar, 5 March 2025 – The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Jalandhar has commenced the Jubilee Cross Yatra (JCY 2025) on 4 March, a faith journey aimed at strengthening hope in Christ. The pilgrimage, which will take the Jubilee Cross from parish to parish across Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, began with great reverence at St. Joseph Church, Ferozepur Cantt.

DEXCO members and youth from various parishes of the diocese carried the Jubilee Cross to St. Joseph Church, where Msgr. Michael Ani, along with parishioners, received it with devotion. The event was marked by the Holy Mass and veneration of the Cross, uniting the faithful in prayer and reflection.

As Pilgrims of Hope, the youth have undertaken this mission to connect communities to Christ, the anchor of hope and trust. The Jubilee Cross Yatra will continue its journey through the diocese, culminating on 6 January 2026 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Jalandhar Cantt.
