ICYM Announces Winners of Short Film Competition Honouring St. Gonsalo Garcia

February 12, 2025: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) announced the winners of its nationwide short film competition on February 12, 2025. The competition, launched on January 27 in honour of St. Gonsalo Garcia, the patron saint of ICYM, invited youth groups from various parishes across the country to showcase the saint’s remarkable life story through a short film. After evaluating numerous outstanding entries, a panel of esteemed judges selected the top three films.

The first position was awarded to "Martyr of Japan" by Yuvjot, Bathinda. St. Anthony Church Saparom, Ranchi, secured the second place with their film "St. Gonsalo Garcia," while the third position went to "Martyr of Soil" by Remedy Youth Group, Vasai.

ICYM is grateful to all participants for their creativity and dedication. It looks forward to celebrating the winners and sharing their inspiring films with a broader audience.
