Archbishop Gallagher Officially Visits India to Strengthen Diplomatic Ties

Vatican, July 14, 2025: Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the Vatican's Secretary for Relations with States and International Organisations, has commenced his visit to India this week to “strengthen bonds of friendship and collaboration.”

According to a post on the official X account of the Holy See's Secretariat of State, @TerzaLoggia, the Vatican official arrived in India on Sunday, 13 July, and will remain in the country until Saturday, 19 July.

“The aim,” the post reads, “is to consolidate and strengthen the bonds of friendship and collaboration between the Holy See and the Republic of India.”
