Holy Childhood Day Celebrated in Kanpur Zone with Enthusiastic Participation

Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh – February 9, 2024: The Holy Childhood Day celebration in the Kanpur Zone of the Allahabad Diocese was marked by vibrant participation and spiritual enrichment at St. Joseph’s Church, Chakeri. The event brought together children from various parishes, fostering faith, service, and community spirit.  

Two distinguished speakers, Mr. Ankit Benedict, the Diocesan Youth President, and Mr. Willie Scott, a former Diocesan Executive Member, graced the occasion, inspiring the young participants with their insights and personal experiences.  

The program commenced with a solemn prayer service, setting the tone for a day of reflection and learning. This was followed by engaging activities and motivational talks, where the speakers emphasised the significance of faith-driven service and compassionate living. They encouraged the children to take active roles in their communities, fostering positive change.  

The celebration reinforced core Christian values, leaving a lasting impact on the participants. Organisers expressed their commitment to continuing such initiatives to nurture the spiritual and moral development of young Catholics in the diocese.
