Youth Lead with Faith and Creativity at Our Lady of Remedies Novenas, Vasai

Vasai, July 1, 2025: The Shrine of Our Lady of Remedies in Remedy, Vasai, becomes a vibrant centre of faith and healing every June as pilgrims gather for the beloved Saturday Novenas. This year, thousands from Vasai, Virar, and surrounding areas came together in prayer, seeking the intercession of Our Lady in a spirit-filled atmosphere of devotion and renewal.

This year, the Remedy Youth Group played a pivotal role, bringing creativity and conviction to the forefront through their eco-friendly decorations. Each Saturday unfolded with a new theme, brought to life through handmade décor crafted entirely from recycled materials. These efforts not only showcased artistic flair but also reflected the youth’s commitment to teamwork, faith, and environmental responsibility.

Throughout the Novenas, youth volunteers served with dedication — assisting the elderly, guiding pilgrims, and ensuring a smooth and prayerful experience for all. Their joyful presence added warmth and vitality, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the shrine.

Our Lady of Remedies is venerated as a powerful intercessor, especially among those seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. She is lovingly invoked by the faithful in times of illness, distress, and uncertainty, with countless testimonies attributing recovery and peace to her maternal care. The shrine in Remedy has become a sanctuary of solace, where pilgrims experience comfort and strength through her presence.

With the support of parish committees and generous well-wishers, the June Novenas stood as a powerful witness to faith in action. For the youth, it was a season of learning, growth, and service — all deeply rooted in their love for Our Lady of Remedies.
