Pope Francis in Stable Condition as X-Ray Confirms Ongoing Improvements

Vatican, 13 March, 2025: In a statement released on Wednesday evening, 12 March, the Vatican reported that the Pope’s condition remains stable despite his complex medical situation.


A chest X-ray performed on Tuesday confirmed continued improvements seen in recent days. Pope Francis continues to receive high-flow oxygen therapy during the day and non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night.


On Wednesday morning, the Pope participated in spiritual exercises in connection with the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican, received the Eucharist, spent time in prayer, and continued his physical therapy.


Later in the afternoon, he continued with prayer, rest, and respiratory physiotherapy.
