Mettur Dam, Tamil Nadu, March 26, 2025 – Parishioners of St. Mary’s Church, Mettur Dam, in the Diocese of Salem, participated in a vibrant music ministry event on the evening of March 23, 2025. The event, held as part of the parish’s jubilee year celebrations, was led by Rev. Fr. Stanly Xavier, principal of St. John’s National Academy, Salem, and priest in charge of the diocese's music commission. Fr. Stanley was supported during the event by his team of musicians and singers from the Salem Diocese. The evening featured an uplifting session of praise and worship, the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and a special Holy Mass.
The programme commenced with an introductory address by Fr. Stanly Xavier, who welcomed the congregation and explained to them the purpose of the event. He and his music team then led the faithful in worship through devotional songs and hymns, creating an atmosphere of deep spiritual fervour. During the worship session, the Blessed Sacrament was exposed, allowing parishioners to engage in prayer and adoration. The gathering spent over an hour and a half in praise and worship, glorifying God through music.

Irudaya Selvam, the parish priest of St. Mary’s Church, and Fr. Francis Xavier, the assistant parish priest. During the Mass, Fr.
