Verapoly, Kerala, January 15, 2025: The Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM) of the Verapoly Archdiocese launched its golden jubilee celebration event, 'Aadaram 2025,' honoring student leaders in a grand ceremony on Sunday, January 12. The event, held as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations, was inaugurated by District Panchayat Vice President Adv. Elsy George, marking a milestone in the organization's journey of empowering Catholic youth.
KCYM Verapoly Archdiocese President Rajeev Patric presided over the event, while Very Rev. Msgr. Mathew Kallinkal delivered the blessing speech, emphasizing the significance of youth leadership rooted in faith and service.
A distinguished lineup of speakers, including KCYM Verapoly Archdiocese Director Fr. Raphael Shinoj Arancherry, KLCA Verapoly Archdiocese General Secretary Roy Palayath, KCYM Latin State Council Animator Sr. Melna Dicotha, KCYM Verapoly General Secretary Rose Mary K.J., and Secretary Ferdin Francis, highlighted the movement’s impactful legacy and vision for the future.
The celebration was further enriched by the presence of KCYM Verapoly Treasurer Joyson P.J., executive members Vinod Varghese and Dilma Mathew, regional office bearers, and numerous unit leaders. The event served as a platform to recognize and motivate student leaders contributing to the Church and society, reaffirming KCYM’s commitment to shaping values-driven young leaders.
'Aadaram 2025' marks a significant chapter in KCYM’s journey, reflecting its dedication to fostering Catholic values, leadership, and community engagement over the past five decades.
