ICYM’s 25 Glorious Years Celebrated with Commemorative Souvenir Launch

Delhi, 21 May 2025 — The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) marked a significant milestone by celebrating 25 glorious years of faith, fellowship, and service to the Church and society. To honour this silver jubilee, the CCBI Youth Commission prepared a commemorative souvenir capturing the vibrant and inspiring journey of ICYM over the past two and a half decades.

The souvenir was officially released by Fr. Stephen Alathara, Deputy Secretary General of the CCBI, during the YCS/YSM National Students Training Programme at the Sofar Convention Centre, Gurugram, on 21 May 2025.

The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Chetan Machado, Executive Secretary of the National Youth Commission; Fr. Charles Menezes, former IYCS Chaplain; Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Diocesan Youth Secretary of the Shimoga Diocese; Fr. Edwin D’Souza, former DYD and resource person from Udupi; and Supriya, General Secretary of ICYM.

This souvenir features a rich collection of articles written by youth, a photo journey of ICYM’s 25-year legacy, and other insightful content highlighting the movement’s mission, growth, and nationwide impact.
