Bengaluru, September 16, 2025: The Holy Family Church, Ramamurthynagar, will be holding a series of preparatory services and events from September 19 to 27 to spiritually prepare the faithful to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of its inception on September 28, 2025.
The parish will open its preparatory week on Friday, September 19, with a family retreat conducted in Kannada from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a Tamil family retreat on Saturday, September 20, at the same hours. Evening devotions and liturgies will form the core of the commemorative week: the Rosary, flag hoisting and Holy Mass in both Kannada and Tamil will take place on Thursday, September 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parish will continue with the Rosary and Holy Mass in Kannada on Friday, September 26, at 5:30 p.m., and in Tamil on Saturday, September 27, at 5:30 p.m.
On Sunday, September 28, the parish will celebrate a full programme of Jubilee Masses to accommodate its diverse congregation. Masses will be offered at 6:15 a.m. (English), 7:15 a.m. (Tamil), 8:45 a.m. (Kannada), 10:00 a.m. (Malayalam), and an 11:00 a.m. Children’s Mass in English. The day will culminate in a concelebrated trilingual Jubilee Mass at 5:00 p.m., to be presided over by Archbishop Peter Machado alongside Auxiliary Bishops Arockiaraj Satish and Joseph Susainathan, with participation from diocesan and religious clergy.
Dr. Susairaj, Parish Priest, together with Rev. Fr. Vicky Prince, Assistant Parish Priest, the religious sisters, members of the Parish Pastoral Council and the parishioners, have extended a warm invitation to the faithful, former parish members and the wider community to join the commemorations.
The parish intends the Jubilee to be both a thanksgiving for five decades of pastoral service and an occasion to acknowledge the contributions of current and former parish priests and religious sisters.
