Diocesan Eucharistic Procession Unites Faithful in Agartala, Tripura

Agartala, November 10, 2025: A vibrant celebration of faith and unity unfolded as more than 7,000 Catholics gathered for the 15th Diocesan-Level Eucharistic Procession at the Khumpui Academy Ground, TTAADC Headquarters, Khumulwng. The event stood as a profound testament to the devotion and spiritual strength of the Catholic community across Tripura.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over Auxiliary Bishop Joachim Walder, D.D., of Aizawl diocese. The liturgy was marked by hymns and prayers led by parish choirs, creating a prayerful atmosphere.

The centerpiece of the celebration was the Eucharistic Procession, held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., as the Blessed Sacrament was carried in solemn devotion through the grounds amid hymns and prayers of adoration. Following the procession, Eucharistic Adoration took place, featuring moments of praise, thanksgiving, Benediction, and a final blessing.

Organized by the Catholic Laity of Tripura, with support from the Agartala Diocese Youth Commission and Khumulwng Parish, the day concluded with a final blessing from Bishop Walder.
