Chhattisgarh Catholic Youth Commission Launches ICYM Silver Jubilee at Regional Directors' Meet 2025

Chhattisgarh, 18 March, 2025 — The Chhattisgarh Catholic Youth Commission officially inaugurated the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) on March 15 during the Regional Directors’ Meet 2025. The event was graced by prominent leaders, including Rt. Rev. Bishop Emmanuel Kerketta DD, Chairman of the Youth Commission, and Rt. Rev. Bishop Paul Toppo, Regional Youth Director, alongside youth ministers from the Chhattisgarh region.

The ICYM flags of all dioceses in the region and the Jubilee Cross, provided by the Regional Team, were blessed by Bishop Paul Toppo. This led to an official blessing by both bishops over the Jubilee Celebration for the entire region. The inauguration was made possible through the cooperation of REXCOs and DEXCOs. 

The diocesan flags and Jubilee Cross were handed over to the diocesan directors and representative youth, marking the beginning of the Jubilee celebrations across the region. The ICYM flag and Jubilee Cross will be passed on to each parish until the region gathers for the Regional Jubilee Celebration with the youth of Chhattisgarh.
