Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, 26 March 2025: A historic Bible exhibition was inaugurated at Nirmalagiri, the Marian shrine of Eluru diocese, by Most Rev. Jaya Rao Polimera, Bishop of Eluru and Apostolic Administrator of Visakhapatnam Archdiocese. The exhibition, held as part of Jubilee 2025 and the diocese’s third-year pastoral plan, was unveiled during the shrine’s annual festival on 22 March.
The exhibition presents the 73 books of the Holy Bible on flex displays, arranged in cubes to offer visitors a comprehensive understanding of Scripture. A team of ten priests worked tirelessly to bring this unique initiative to life. Volunteers and clergy will be on hand to guide pilgrims through the exhibition, explaining the different aspects of the Bible.
On 25 March, Most Rev. Sagili Prakash, Bishop of Kadapa, and Most Rev. Antony Das Pilli, Coadjutor Bishop of Nellore, visited the exhibition alongside Bishop Polimera. They highly appreciated the effort and encouraged people to explore the exhibition, deepening their knowledge of the Bible during this Jubilee year.
Special appreciation was extended to Bishop Polimera, Fr. B. V. Prasad, Fr. Elisha, and their team for their dedication and efforts in making the exhibition a success. The display remains a key highlight of the festival, drawing visitors from across the region.
