ANUBHAV 2025 held in Chattisgarh: A Faith Experience to Remember

Ambikapur, Chattisgarh October 25, 2025 — “ANUBHAV,” meaning experience, lived up to its name as a profound encounter with God for the young people of the Diocese of Ambikapur. Organised by the Diocesan Youth Commission Ambikapur in collaboration with Youth United for Christ (YU4C), the four-day Diocesan Youth Convention held from 18th to 21st October 2025 at the Holy Cross Campus, Ambikapur, brought together over 200 vibrant young participants eager to deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with Christ.

The convention featured Mr. Ajin Joseph, National Coordinator of YU4C, and Mr. Ronald as the main resource persons. Their spirit-filled sessions and engaging interactions inspired and uplifted the youth, leaving a lasting impression on every heart. Adding to the spiritual atmosphere, the YU4C Mumbai Band led powerful praise and worship sessions, allowing participants to experience God’s presence through moving music and heartfelt prayer.

On 19th October, Fr. William Urrey, Vicar General of the Diocese of Ambikapur, officially inaugurated the convention. In his address, he reminded the young faithful that they are “the hope and strength of the Church,” urging them to shine as beacons of Christ’s light in the world.

The following day, 20th October, was marked by deep spiritual renewal. Bishop Dr. Antonis Bara, DD, celebrated the Holy Eucharist and encouraged the youth to remain steadfast in faith, persevere in times of trial, and walk courageously with Jesus. His words of wisdom and compassion brought strength, comfort, and conviction to all who attended.

The convention concluded on 21st October with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Fr. Anuranjan Tigga, Diocesan Youth Director. In his message, Fr. Tigga expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of Anubhav 2025 and urged the young participants to keep the flame of faith burning brightly in their daily lives.

Throughout the event, the sessions resonated with prayer, reflection, and youthful energy. Many participants experienced healing, renewal, and a deeper sense of purpose during moments of adoration and intercession. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully among the youth, inspiring them to lead lives rooted in holiness, prayer, and service.

ANUBHAV 2025 was more than just a convention — it was a transformative journey of faith, renewal, and joyful discipleship. For every participant, it became a cherished encounter with God and a call to live courageously as witnesses of Christ in today’s world.
