Youth United in Assam for a Spiritual Journey with Regional Convention Cross

Tezpur, March 18, 2025 – The Diocese of Tezpur's TDCYC (Tezpur Diocese Catholic Youth Commission) hosted the Extraordinary Spiritual Journey of the Regional Convention Cross on March 16, 2025, at the Cathedral of St. John Bosco. The event aimed to foster unity and devotion among the youth as they prepared for the upcoming Regional Youth Convention. 

A solemn procession inside the cathedral marked the event's beginning, with Rev. Fr. John Barman, RYD, and Rev. Sr. Wansuk Mary Lyngdoh, RYLA, ceremonially handing over the Cross to the DEXCO Team of TDCYC, witnessed by numerous youth participants.  

A one-hour adoration dedicated to praying for the success of the Regional Youth Convention (RYC) was led by Rev. Fr. Theodore Purty, Parish Priest of Tezpur. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Niran Rabha, DYD of Tezpur Diocese, followed by the veneration of the Regional Convention Cross.  

The gathering was a moment of deep spiritual reflection, fostering unity and devotion among the youth as they prepared for the upcoming RYC.
