Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders: Bihar Youth Animators' Training Sparks Inspiration

Patna, September 26, 2024: The Bihar Regional Youth Commission has ignited a new wave of energy and leadership among young Catholics with the launch of a dynamic two-day Regional Animators' Training Programme at Navjyoti Niketan, Patna from September 24 to 26.

The programme was inaugurated in a spirited ceremony by Archbishop Sebastian Kallupura of Patna and Bishop Peter Sebastian Goveas of Bettiah, both of whom delivered powerful and uplifting messages. 

Archbishop Kallupura set the tone by challenging the young participants to focus on inner growth. “True greatness comes from building character, not chasing reputation,” he said, urging the youth to cultivate virtues like integrity, humility and compassion.

Bishop Goveas followed with a rousing message of hope and resilience. "Dear young people, be pilgrims of hope, ready to face challenges on your journey," he declared.

Adding to the excitement, . Fr. Chetan Machado, the Executive Secretary of CCBI Youth Commission and the programme’s key resource person took the stage, describing youth ministry as a 'gift of God'. "This programme is not just training, it's a movement to unleash the youth's potential," he remarked.
