Nungambakkam Vicariate, Chennai, to Host Lenten Retreat on ‘Witnessing Christ in the Digital Era’

Chennai, 26 February, 2025: The Archdiocesan Youth Commission and St. John the Baptist Vicariate—Nungambakkam have announced a Lenten Retreat focused on “Witnessing Christ Jesus in the Digital Era.” The retreat will take place on 2 March 2025 at St. Luke’s Church, Anna Nagar, starting from 10:30 AM onwards.  


Rev. Fr. Ritchie Vincent, Secretary of the Commission for Social Communications, will deliver the Lenten message. His address will highlight the role of faith in navigating the digital landscape and the challenges young Catholics face in staying true to Christ in a fast-evolving technological world.  


Several key clergy members will participate in the retreat, including Rev. Fr. Thomas, Parish Priest of St. Luke’s Church; Rev. Fr. Andrew Dominic, Vicar Forane; Rev. Fr. Alex Raj, Vicariate Youth Director; and Rev. Fr. Ronald Richard, Archdiocesan Youth Director.  


The event, organised by the Nungambakkam Vicariate Office Bearers, aims to inspire young Catholics to integrate their faith into their online presence and digital interactions.
