Hyderabad Archdiocese Conducts Elections for Youth Leadership

Hyderabad, 9 December 2025 : Youth Commission of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad conducted its diocese-Level Youth Elections at St Joseph’s Cathedral, Gunfoundry, under the leadership of Fr. Jerome, Diocesan Youth Director, together with the core archdiocesan youth leadership team comprising President Mario Kevin, Secretary Manisha Sharon (Regional Youth Secretary), Male Representative Harry Joshua (Former Regional Youth President), and Female Representative Regina Hanisha Raj (Former NEXCO Member). Nithish Vivian, Hyderabad Deanery President, was also present.

Youth representatives from all 12 deaneries of the Archdiocese participated, making the process fully inclusive and reflective of the diverse Catholic youth community.

The elections were carried out in a fair, transparent and systematic manner, ensuring the selection of committed and capable young leaders for the various roles. The newly elected team will formally assume office during UNIFEST in February 2026.

The Youth Commission noted that the election was not simply an administrative exercise but an important step in strengthening youth formation, fostering unity and nurturing a renewed sense of responsibility among young Catholics.
