Civil Services Seminar for All Christian Youth to Be Held in Bangalore

Bangalore, 29 May 2025 – A free Civil Services Awareness Seminar will take place on 14th June at 3:00 PM at the HRD Centre, Karnataka Central Diocese Office, #20, 3rd Cross, Mission Compound (behind Unity Building), Bangalore. The event is open to all Christian youth and seeks to inspire participants to pursue careers in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS). This initiative is jointly organised by Catholic Connect, Indian Christian Unity Forum, Kerala Samajam, Pratiba Foundation, and the Church of South India – Karnataka Central Diocese.

The seminar will feature real-life insights from successful officers, guidance on exam preparation, coaching options, study materials, and strategies. Attendees will also receive information on government funding for civil services training, along with opportunities for networking and interactive Q&A sessions.

Speakers include Mr. M.G. Devasahayam IAS (Retd.), Ms. Stella Varghese KAS, Dr. Ronald Anil Fernandes (former KPSC member), and Mr. Anthony (Vikram), Director of Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation (KMDC).

Guests of Honour for the event are Shri K.J. George, MLA and Energy Minister, and Shri Ivan D'Souza, MLC.
